The Magic Patio began in two thousand thirteen as a secret performance space tucked into the backyard of an ordinary residential apartment. The creator, Andrew Evans, utilized his background in engineering and design to construct an intimate theater for forty-five people, featuring a bar, stage illusions, and a hidden entrance. While the venue has since moved into a dedicated commercial storefront, it maintains that original spirit of mystery by operating as a magic speakeasy, often concealed behind the facade of a candy shop. This transition allowed the performance to grow while preserving the rare, up-close atmosphere that defined its humble, backyard origins.
