The red brick facade of Building 101 features a distinct row of arched windows that define its industrial silhouette. Built in nineteen oh six, it served as a powerhouse for the Western Sugar Refining Company. During the peak of operations, the building housed massive boilers that generated the steam needed to process raw sugar hauled in by ship. Today, the soot and heavy machinery are gone, replaced by designers and startup offices that occupy the same cavernous, sunlit floors once reserved for coal.
