Palisades Medical Center sits directly on the Hudson River waterfront in North Bergen at the historic site of Bulls Ferry. While it functions today as a modern hospital, it arrived here in nineteen seventy-eight after relocating from its original home in Weehawken, where it had previously operated as the North Hudson Hospital. Its position between the Lincoln Tunnel and the George Washington Bridge makes it a critical emergency response facility for the surrounding waterfront and urban areas.
