The exterior of O Cravinho is covered in hundreds of tiny wooden spice bottles, creating a texture that feels like a piece of a colonial ship hull. Inside, the walls display jars of cachaça infused with everything from cloves and cinnamon to more mysterious local roots. While the building once functioned as a simple grocery store in the Pelourinho district, it became a dedicated tasting room for sugar cane spirit. People gather there to sample the infusions served directly from those glass vessels.
