Fresque Jean-Paul Belmondo

The five story high mural on the side of the building features Jean-Paul Belmondo dressed in his iconic role from the film Le Professionnel. The actor stares out over the Rue du Commandant Vidal, his face etched in grayscale against the tan stucco. It went up in twenty twenty-two, a year after his death, as a tribute from the city of Cannes. The artist painted the image to capture the grit of his classic cinema characters while he loomed over the neighborhood.
