Murs Peints - baisers célèbres du cinéma

The building wall on Rue de la Verrerie displays a mural of giant black and white movie kisses. It features iconic moments like the embrace between Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr from From Here to Eternity. The city commissioned this mural in two thousand and four to lean into the cinema history of Cannes. Artists from the Cité de la Création spent weeks scaling the side of the building to paint the scenes directly onto the plaster.
