The Atelier Forville is a low-slung, utilitarian building with a wide, industrial-style storefront nestled right against the bustle of the Marché Forville. It operates as a dedicated space for artists to work and exhibit, salvaged from a former neighborhood garage. In the nineteen eighties, the city converted this gritty mechanical repair shop into a gallery to keep creative life anchored in the heart of the historic district. A single steel beam still cuts across the ceiling, left behind from the garage days.
