It sits as a quiet representative of the bourgeois apartment blocks that defined this district during the early twentieth century. While the name suggests a singular identity, the building functions as a collection of private homes. In nineteen twenty-five, a local merchant named Jules Viguier commissioned the structure, specifically requesting the ornate carvings around the main entrance door.
