La Gare is a massive, immersive mural that tricks the eye into seeing a bustling railway scene where only a blank wall exists. Painted by the collective Nouvel Aspect, the artwork spans two large adjacent surfaces to create a continuous, deep perspective of a steam locomotive emerging from a cloud of white smoke. This mural is designed to be more than a flat image. It serves as a visual anchor for the adjacent children's playground, where the play equipment itself is themed like trains. If you look closely toward the right side of the square, you will even see a ticket collector painted behind his booth. The entire installation transforms what was once a plain, dead-end urban space into an active railway platform that visually extends into the distance.
