Square Raymond Souplex is a small, quiet patch of greenery framed by a distinctive stone wall on the Rue Joseph de Maistre. It honors Raymond Souplex, a prolific actor and writer who spent much of his career in these neighborhoods, playing the iconic Commissioner Bourrel in the long-running television series The Five Last Minutes. Before this space became a public garden, it was a piece of private land that the city acquired to break up the dense block of apartment buildings for local residents.
