Espace Beaujon

The Espace Beaujon is recognizable by its sharp, industrial-style glass facade that cuts through the surrounding classical Parisian stone. Originally built as a private mansion in the eighteenth century, the site became the headquarters for the French Red Cross. In the nineteen eighties, the city transformed the property into a center for local cultural activities. Today, the building houses exhibition spaces and concert rooms, keeping the former mansion busy with rehearsals and performances instead of the administrative work of humanitarian aid.
