Dalí Universe

museum

The Dalí Universe in Montmartre distinguishes itself with a heavy, oversized bronze sculpture of a melting clock placed right at the entrance. This permanent exhibition houses hundreds of original works, focusing primarily on sculptures and engravings created by Salvador Dalí. Beniamino Levi, a former art dealer who worked directly with the surrealist artist during the nineteen sixties, gathered this collection over several decades. He insisted on displaying the pieces in a space designed to mimic the dreamlike, distorted perspectives found in Dalí’s paintings.
