Salle Gaveau

The Salle Gaveau was built by the French piano manufacturer Etienne Gaveau in 1907 as a grand marketing strategy. He constructed the building on rue La Boétie to serve as both the company headquarters and a prestigious concert hall to showcase the quality of his instruments to the Parisian public. By inviting the greatest pianists of the era to perform exclusively on his company's concert grand pianos in this venue, he effectively turned the hall into a living showroom for his brand.
