The artist known as Vinie moved to Paris in 2007 to work as an artistic director in a communication agency, a career change that eventually provided the foundation for her signature style. Before this, she refined her skills as a teenager in Toulouse, where she joined a local graffiti crew and spent years perfecting the art of lettering. Her transition from those early spray-painted tags to the detailed figurative work seen today marks a deliberate evolution in her craft. She moved away from traditional graffiti letters to focus on her now-iconic female characters, which often feature slender frames and expressive, wide-eyed faces.
