La Flèche d'Or occupies the former Gare de Charonne, a station on the old Petite Ceinture railway line that once circled Paris. A long, rusted iron canopy still stretches over the abandoned tracks, marking the spot where trains stopped until nineteen thirty-four. In the nineties, the building became a legendary concert venue. Musicians like Manu Chao played here, and the space felt like an underground hub for activists and artists. It closed for years before recently reopening as a bar and performance space.
