Billie Woods

The Billie Woods office building in Les Lilas features a sawtooth roofline inspired by the industrial architecture that once defined this suburb of Paris. Architects at Avenier Cornejo designed the structure to accommodate professional workspaces while echoing the local memory of the factory workshops that previously occupied the site. The white perforated metal skin wraps around the building, creating a texture that changes with the daylight. Inside, the design prioritizes natural light, flooding the workspaces through the angular skylights set into the roof.
