Attar Ayurveda - caring for you over 180 years

A narrow, wooden doorway marked with fading hand-painted lettering identifies the entrance to Attar Ayurveda in the Ghat Darwaza neighborhood. Inside, glass jars filled with dried herbs and aromatic roots line the walls from floor to ceiling. This business began in eighteen forty-two when a local family started grinding spices and medicinal plants for the residents of Jaipur. Generations later, the current owner still uses the same heavy stone mortars to prepare traditional powders for customers who arrive with handwritten prescriptions.
