The Tripolia Gate features three distinct archways built of stone, standing as the main entrance to the City Palace complex in Jaipur. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh the second commissioned this structure in seventeen thirty-four to serve as the royal gateway. During the era of the kings, only the royal family and their guests passed through these central arches. Others used the smaller side gates, a rule enforced by guards who kept the main passage clear for the arrival of the king.
