Festival Tower features a towering, dark granite facade that stretches forty stories into the Osaka skyline. It sits on the former site of the Asahi Building, a structure once famous for its unique curved design and rooftop garden. Architects rebuilt this space in twenty twelve to house both high-end offices and the massive Festival Hall concert venue. The hall occupies the middle floors, designed specifically to recreate the precise acoustic profile of the original nineteen fifties theater that stood here for decades.
