The red Ferris wheel mounted directly onto the roof of the HEP FIVE shopping complex reaches a peak of one hundred and six meters above the street. It was completed in nineteen ninety-eight as part of a commercial redevelopment project in the Umeda district. The wheel incorporates a unique structural design that suspends the passenger gondolas outside the main circular frame. At night, neon lights trace the motion of the wheel against the Osaka skyline, visible from several kilometers away.
