The Nicholas G Hayek Centre stands out with a glass facade that opens fully to the street, housing a vertical gallery of luxury watch boutiques. When the weather permits, these shop windows move outward and upward, transforming the building into an open-air display. Shigeru Ban designed the structure to accommodate these hydraulic glass walls, creating a seamless connection between the sidewalk and the displays. Each floor features a different brand from the Swatch Group, with elevators carrying visitors directly into the individual stores.
