The facade of the Louis Vuitton Ginza Namiki building ripples like a column of water caught in sunlight. Its exterior consists of two layers of dichroic glass, engineered to shift in color as the sun moves across the Tokyo sky. Architects Jun Aoki and Tom Henne worked with the idea of light reflecting off the surface of the nearby bay. Inside, the store holds a permanent cafe and the first chocolate shop under the brand, marking a shift toward experiential luxury retail.
