Little Western Wall

historic

The Little Western Wall consists of a short, exposed section of limestone masonry tucked into a narrow alleyway. It sits along the continuation of the Western Wall that runs underground beneath the houses of the Muslim Quarter. While the main prayer site draws thousands, this spot remains quiet, often hosting only a few people pressing their hands against the massive, weathered stones. The foundations here rest directly against the bedrock of the Temple Mount, hidden from the main plaza for centuries.
