Ormeau Labs

other

Ormeau Labs occupies a former nineteenth century police station on Donegall Pass, identified by the heavy, arched doorway and robust masonry characteristic of Victorian civic architecture. Once a functional hub for the Royal Ulster Constabulary, the building now houses a community of tech startups and entrepreneurs. Jonathon Levin purchased the vacant site in twenty thirteen, stripping out the holding cells and interrogation rooms to create open-plan workspaces. The building retains its stone exterior while the interior supports a shifting ecosystem of digital businesses.
