Hilltop Park sits atop Bayview Hill and serves as a landmark for the entire neighborhood. Its most recognizable feature is a massive sundial that rises seventy feet into the air. This structure was created by the artist Jaques Overhoff and has defined the local skyline since the park first opened in the late nineteen seventies. While it stands as a piece of public art, it also functions as a genuine timekeeper that casts shadows across a concrete plaza designed to function as an amphitheater.
