Bob Cheney Field

Bob Cheney Field is located within Parkside Square, a public space that emerged from the sandy landscape of San Francisco’s western edge. The neighborhood itself began in the early twentieth century as a collection of speculative cottages built on dunes, where early residents lived in a remote area often described as having more rabbits than people. Today, the field serves as a neighborhood hub for youth baseball and adult softball leagues, providing a grass playing surface in the heart of the community.
