Ridley House - Key West Historic Inns

historic

The Ridley House features a sharp, steep-pitched roofline and a deep, wrap-around porch painted in muted tropical tones. Built in the eighteen seventies, the structure began as a private residence for a prominent local merchant during the city's booming cigar manufacturing era. A former owner once famously refused to sell the property to developers, instead keeping the grounds as a private garden filled with rare orchids. Its ornate wooden latticework remains one of the few examples of classic Key West Victorian styling.
