The seven-story concrete parking structure at eleven eleven Lincoln Road features open levels that expose the cars inside like a gallery display. Herzog and de Meuron designed this building in two thousand ten, aiming to strip away the dark, cramped feeling of traditional garages. Robert Wennett, the developer, insisted that the top floor be reserved for event space rather than parked vehicles. That roof level now hosts weddings and yoga classes while offering clear views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Miami skyline.
