Built in nineteen forty-five, it operated as a roadside stop for decades before falling into disrepair. In twenty-fourteen, the property was purchased by Tony Hsieh, who led the effort to strip away the decaying motel rooms while preserving the iconic signage and central courtyard. Today, the space hosts independent shops and outdoor events under the shadow of its restored mid-century silhouette.
