McCormick Pier Condos

other

The McCormick Pier Condominiums sit right at the edge of the Willamette River, defined by their heavy, dark timber frame and the deep, recessed balconies that cut into the building’s facade. Before these units appeared in the early nineteen eighties, the site served as the primary shipping terminal for the McCormick Steamship Company. Ships docked here to load lumber destined for ports along the California coast. The developers kept the spirit of the old pier, building the residential structure directly over the water.
