Brewery Block

The Brewery Block consists of five buildings that stretch across an entire city block, identifiable by a mix of brick facades and modern glass corners. These structures occupy the former site of the Weinhard Brewery, which produced Henry Weinhard’s beer for over a century starting in eighteen sixty-two. When the brewery closed in nineteen ninety-nine, developers kept the historic brick shells while inserting office spaces and restaurants into the interior. The smell of hops once drifted through these streets during Portland's early industrial expansion.
