Talluto's - Philadelphia

A faded blue sign reading Talluto’s hangs above the sidewalk on South Ninth Street. Joseph Talluto opened this shop in nineteen sixty-seven, specializing in handmade pasta when most of his neighbors still made their own dough at home. He used a traditional ravioli machine he brought from Italy, turning out rows of cheese-filled squares that gained a reputation across the city. Today, the family runs the business, keeping that original pasta machine in service for customers lining up for fresh fettuccine.
