Amir-zadeh Mausoleum

The Amir-zadeh Mausoleum features a prominent, fluted azure dome that rises above a square base of weathered brick. Built in the fourteenth century, this structure marks the final resting place of a grandson of Amir Timur. Locals once gathered here to seek blessings, though the tomb eventually fell into deep disrepair. During the Soviet era, workers nearly dismantled the remaining walls for building material, but a local architect intervened, convincing authorities to preserve the foundation as a historical relic of Timurid geometry.
