This structure served as a private residence for a wealthy merchant family before its transition into a guesthouse. Local craftsmen restored the interior using original methods, leaving the intricate plasterwork and stained glass intact. Travelers stay here because the courtyard remains enclosed by thick brick walls, keeping the noise of the city streets completely outside.
