Twenty-five Martin Place features a distinct, curved facade of white marble and deeply recessed windows that set it apart from the surrounding sandstone architecture. Originally known as the MLC Centre, it arrived in nineteen seventy-eight as the first skyscraper in Sydney to incorporate a dedicated public theater in its base. Architect Harry Seidler designed the tower with a central service core, leaving the perimeter free of load-bearing walls. This structure allowed for the expansive, floor-to-ceiling glass panels that define its interior workspace.
