Pasaje Cervantes

The Pasaje Cervantes holds a narrow, three-story walkway lined with dark wood balconies that look out over the tiled floor below. It occupies a space between two larger streets in downtown Medellin. In nineteen twenty-one, the businessman Julian Vasquez commissioned this corridor to house offices and shops. He named it after the Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes. The passage remains a quiet shortcut for pedestrians who want to avoid the noise of the city streets while passing through the older center.
