The Church of Notre Dame de la Dalbade features a towering red brick bell tower that dominates the skyline of the Dalbade neighborhood. This structure traces its origins to the fourteenth century, though the spire collapsed in eighteen forty-nine, leaving the current truncated appearance. During the Renaissance, the portal was adorned with a massive ceramic tympanum depicting the coronation of the Virgin Mary. Local merchants commissioned this colorful relief to demonstrate their piety and wealth, defying the standard architectural trends of the time.
