Cafés Bacquié

Cafés Bacquié features a bright red awning stretching over the sidewalk along the Place Wilson. The shop remains a family business, tracing its roots back to eighteen seventy-six when Antoine Bacquié first roasted coffee beans in the center of Toulouse. Inside, the brass machinery fills the space with the heavy scent of Arabica. While other businesses modernized their production methods, the Bacquié family kept their original roasting techniques. They still measure their output in small, manual batches to preserve the flavor.
