You are standing in Parc Marcel Bich, a green space that occupies the historic grounds of the very first Bic factory. In 1944, Marcel Bich and his partner Edouard Buffard purchased an empty facility on this site at the Impasse des Cailloux. It was here that they began by manufacturing spare parts for fountain pens and mechanical pencils before revolutionizing the world of stationery.
