Jardin Des Reflets

The Jardin des Reflets serves as a deliberate counterpoint to the dense, concrete-heavy environment of the La Défense business district. Before its transformation, this site was a fenced-off, inaccessible lawn that functioned merely as a visual buffer between office buildings. In 2016, city planners converted the area into the first public, shared garden on the district's elevated pedestrian slab, aiming to turn an austere corporate hub into a functional living space for the people who work and reside here.
