Tour Michelet

landmark

Tour Michelet is a jagged, white tower covered in distinct, sharp-angled glass facets that catch the sky from every direction. Completed in nineteen eighty-five, it serves as the headquarters for the oil giant TotalEnergies. While the surrounding district grew into a dense forest of glass rectangles, this building maintains its original, crystalline profile. Jean-Pierre Dagbert designed the structure to break away from the flat, slab-sided architecture common in the neighborhood, giving the tower a fractured, geometric surface that shifts color with the weather.
