The Rond-Point de la Liberté serves as a physical bridge between two vastly different worlds. To one side lies the historic town center of Puteaux, a community that traces its roots back to the twelfth century and was once famous for its vast rose gardens. To the other side rises the immense, glass-and-steel expanse of the La Défense business district, the largest of its kind in Europe.
