Château de Madrid

The Château de Madrid stands as a vanished ghost of French history, once a grand Renaissance palace located on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. King Francis the First ordered its construction in the year fifteen twenty-eight, shortly after he returned from his imprisonment in Spain. During his time held in Madrid, the King developed a fascination with the architecture he encountered there. He initiated this project as a direct homage to his experiences, eventually naming the structure after the Spanish capital.
