The Tournage Victoire is a small, unremarkable concrete building tucked away on a quiet street in the sixteenth arrondissement. It served as a functional technical hub for the film industry, specifically for processing and editing reels during the mid-twentieth century. Its windows remain small to protect delicate celluloid from direct sunlight and heat. During the nineteen fifties, a local projectionist accidentally sparked a minor fire here that nearly destroyed a week of unreleased rushes. The charred outer wall still bears the faint scar.
