Place Henri Malberg

park garden

Place Henri Malberg is a small, triangular paved square where the Rue des Couronnes meets the Rue de Belleville. It serves as a rare, quiet opening in the dense layout of the neighborhood. The space bears the name of a longtime leader of the French Communist Party in Paris, who spent decades working in the local municipal government. Before the city officially dedicated this spot to him in two thousand twenty, local residents mostly knew it as an unnamed crossroads for commuters and neighbors.
