Originally built in nineteen twenty-four as a cinema, the structure operated as the Studio 28 for decades before transitioning into a live performance venue. A local theater company took over the space, turning the former projection room into a stage for contemporary plays. The small interior retains the narrow, intimate proportions of those early cinema days, keeping the audience mere feet from the actors.
