Parc Lucie Aubrac sits on land that once served as a series of gypsum quarries. After remaining as uncultivated wasteland for many years, it was transformed into this green space through a collaborative project with the local residents and officially inaugurated in two thousand seven. The park design uses a layout of strips to create various shaded resting areas, integrating the site into the heart of the neighborhood block.
