Point de vue de la grande traverse - Parc Jean Moulin

The Point de vue de la grande traverse is a paved, raised platform that pushes out over the steep eastern edge of the Parc Jean Moulin. From this spot, the land drops away toward the city of Montreuil and the plains beyond. Before the park existed, this entire hillside was a maze of industrial gypsum quarries and small, haphazard garden plots used by local workers. The platform marks the highest point of the reclaimed landscape, which planners transformed into a continuous, rolling public plateau.
