Its most elegant feature is a nineteenth century glass conservatory that once functioned as the private winter garden for a wealthy family who owned an absinthe distillery located nearby. While the original mansion was demolished in the nineteen seventies, the conservatory remains as a preserved remnant of that era, featuring its original brick base and ornate steel framework. Today, this structure sits nestled between modern cultural facilities, offering a refined contrast to the surrounding urban landscape.
