The Yamaha Service building in Pantin features a massive, glass-walled facade that stands out against the industrial brickwork common to this area. It serves as the primary technical center for the company in France. In nineteen eighty-four, the architect Xavier Menu designed this structure to emphasize transparency, allowing passersby to watch mechanics work on motorcycles from the sidewalk. A large internal ramp winds through the center of the floor space, moving heavy equipment between the levels with ease.
